What’s Next Longevity Business Academy
Where Industry Leaders and Boomer Marketing Experts Converge
April 20-June 8, 2021
The second annual What’s Next Longevity Business Academy presents a masters class with discussions and presentations by experts that offer comprehensive learning for those involved in the business of the longevity economy. Part of MFA’s mission is to create instructive environments underscoring a key aspect of positive aging: lifelong learning. While the What’s Next Summit events offer the “what and who” trends in the longevity economy, the Academy sessions address the “how” to create skills for success as a longevity entrepreneur.
What’s Next Longevity Venture Summit
Where Entrepreneurs, the Venture Community, and Leaders Come Together in a Unique Forum to Explore Product and Service Opportunities in the Longevity Market
June 16-17, 2021
Today’s older adults are more active than their predecessors and they have very different interests and motivations. Consequently, older adults are demanding products and services from an economy that is not prepared to meet their needs. This presents a tremendous window of opportunity for unprecedented profits and growth, even in a challenging economic climate. With the right business plan, direction, and commitment to succeed, entrepreneurs are poised to help increase the quality of life for many while creating a successful business in the process.
Since 2004, Mary Furlong & Associates has produced the What’s Next Longevity Venture Summit and Business Plan Competition, and each year has been more successful than the one before. The event brings together entrepreneurs, leaders in the field of aging, and the venture community to create a unique forum to explore, share, and design products and services that will dominate the longevity market in coming years. In addition, this program is designed to teach entrepreneurs how to think through a business.
What’s Next Longevity Innovation Summit
Connect with the Leaders in the Longevity Ecosystem
December 1-2, 2021
Now in its fourth year, the What’s Next Longevity Innovation Summit helps leaders in the innovation ecosystem connect and informs entrepreneurs and investors who want to understand how to navigate the regulatory environment and build relationships with the government and the nonprofit sector.
Typically, this conference takes place in Washington, DC, but this year’s conference will be virtual. With the theme Innovation, Investments, Infrastructure and Influencers, it will offer DC-insiders’ perspectives on the fast-paced changes happening in our government, including the effects of stimulus funding and the infrastructure plan, Medicare, Medicaid and regulatory issues, as well as the global impact of COVID-19 and recovery from the resulting economic recession, all of which are bringing about unprecedented changes that will ultimately affect the longevity economy.
“What an amazing confab! I’m still drinking from the firehose – this 2-day immersion is amazing. It’s a must-attend for anyone entering this industry.”
Susan Black, Founder and CEO, Wowzitude and Our Travel Circle
“I thought it was fantastic. From the opening serenade to your sign off, it was great! And while I missed networking in person, the ability to replay the sessions (and view all concurrent sessions) has already been a nice bonus.”
Mark Maxwell, Geras Media LLC
“What a great community of thought leaders with incredible knowledge, passion, compassion, and empathy all in one place. I have pages of notes and a few more sessions to watch, but we’re excited to take the next steps in moving our business forward. Congratulations to you and your team for an informative and exciting summit!”
Lisa Burns, James Joan Consulting
“Everything about this conference was extremely high quality – from the presenters to the moderators, the mix and depth of topics covered, and the virtual experience format. As a first-time attendee who hemmed a bit at the cost, this program was exceptional and well worth the money.”
